Bible Study

bible

Bible Study at THE WELL was begun as a means to further spiritual growth...

Oodles of growth can be had while listening to the preaching of the Word, but where the rubber hits the road is when you put what you've learned from the pulpit into practice in your own life, hashing it out with people you love, respect and admire, or those you're just learning to ‘like'.

Fact is, doing Bible Study in a group context is a really great way of seeing people out of the ‘context' of church...(when you debate with someone, you get to know them better).  And hay, when push comes to shove, it's in the ‘small/local' context where community actually ‘happens'.  Eating, drinking and laughing with people is the foremost way of connecting long-term.

Here's how it works...we gather at various points in the city (basically anywhere in the western GTA) and we pray, worship, study, eat and fellowship together while pouring over the content from the previous weeks sermon.  Groups meet at all times in the week and in all kinds of venues.  And the point?  To glean more of the 'meat' out of the sermon.

If you have or questions or comments on how we do bible study at TW please Contact PASTOR MIKE.
