Helping Hands...
There are many people with many needs living right around us.
With ‘Helping Hands,' we hope to provide a practical way for our church to ‘be Jesus' to those around us. We feel that children should be involved in and around their communities in order to ‘live out the Gospel' to their friends and neighbours. Helping Hands is a way to reach out to people in a practical way, such as, helping an elderly neighbour by visiting on a regular basis, or buying groceries for them, helping a single-mom who needs assistance with child-care, helping people who have a project they can't seem to finish, etc.
THE IDEA:
Once you start feeling like THE WELL is your church home we'd ask you to let us know. What we'll do at that point is put you into our system so that we know where you live. The reason for that is not so we can toilet paper your car some night but so that we can come to you if we hear of a person in your area who could use a helping hand.
Our hope at THE WELL is that you will be the one to impact your neighborhood.
So if you let us know you'd like to be part of 'Helping Hands', when we get a request for help, and it comes up as in your area, we'll forward it to you.
